'Red Delicious' is the first in a series of fifty-nine original oil paintings of an apple. I am attempting to connect with the immediate nature of painting through these small alla prima works. One down 58 to go....

I also hope to improve my time lapse technique and I apologize for the crudeness of this time lapse. I have ordered a digital timer but until it arrives and I learn how to use it I will be photographing by hand.
